Even U.N. Admits That Going Green Will Cost $76 Trillion – FoxNews.com

July 6, 2011

Make no mistake, much of this has nothing to do with climate.

The press release for the report discusses the need “to achieve a decent living standard for people in developing countries, especially the 1.4 billion still living in extreme poverty, and the additional 2 billion people expected worldwide by 2050.” That sounds more like global redistribution of wealth than worrying about the earth’s thermostat.

That’s because it is. The report goes on and says “one half of the required investments would have to be realized in developing countries.” In other words, $38 trillion would go to the developing world.

via Even U.N. Admits That Going Green Will Cost $76 Trillion – FoxNews.com.

The rebuttal to this will be… let me sum it up… “FOXNEWS!!” “SARAH PALIN!!”” “GEORGE BUSH!!””…..

Couldn’t get the world to embrace communism and “spreading the wealth around” with their arguments… so now we’ve got a “CRISIS!” that we MUST address… and oh BTW, we’re going to need to take your money and spread it around to accomplish saving Mother Earth…. on top of controlling industry by taxing and regulating their “carbon outputs”…..

After all, when the wall came down the ‘green’ movement is where most of the communists went…

Go to the original article… Lo and behold, a climate-denial opinion piece! Now that is great journalism there, huh? Any possible alternate voice chosen to respond? Nope. How about a fact check of the numbers? Nope. How about a definition of what that “overhaul” entails? Nope. Any actual facts there? Nope. Enough for Craig to run around with his hair on fire, and Pat to respond? ABSO-FREAKIN-LUTELY!! Funny, if it wasn’t so sad. Actually has less factiness than the climate-gate exploiters, and that “crisis-of-conscience” was debunked.

You keep claiming that ‘climate-gate’ was ‘debunked.’ Strange. Just like Dan Rather ‘debunked’ the exposure of his slanderous false stories about Bush (in a totally non-partisan manner, I might add).

“In summary, we have not found any direct evidence to support the allegation that
members of CRU misused their position on IPPC to seek to prevent the
publication of opposing ideas…We find that neither Jones nor Briffa
behaved improperly by preventing or seeking to prevent proper consideration of
views which conflicted with their own through their roles in the IPCC.”

    Ys, debunked “climate-gate”.
