Al Gore’s next crusade: in your bed – NYPOST.com

June 29, 2011

Al Gore, America’s loopiest ex-vice president, is at it again. Not content with pocketing a fortune by scaring his fellow citizens with the imaginary boogeyman of “man-made climate change,” the prophet of doom now wants everybody to save the planet by — wait for it — halting population growth.

Reminds me of these guys…. hey, if you’re dumb enough to buy it…. I kinda hope you follow through…

“scaring his fellow citizens with the imaginary boogeyman of “man-made climate change”

Can you just smell the ignorance and disdain for the “sciency” stuff? Isn’t ignorance fun?

“But the marks have started to get wise: Congress has abandoned “climate-change” legislation”

Because anti-scince Republicans got into office, not from any “renaissance” of thinking…

“one of the principal ways of doing that is to empower and educate girls and women,” Gore said in New York last week. “When that happens, then the population begins to stabilize and societies begin to make better choices and more balanced choices.”

Oh, dear… what a horrible thing to say. Craig, seriously, what kind of illness leads you to link to a loser like this Walsh guy?

Tell you what, your “science” and your “renaissance” thinking can keep on keeping on, relegated to the corner with those who cry wolf and that the sky is falling. As far as I can tell, the “global cooling”, I mean “global warming”, oops, this week its “climate change”, oh wait, I think the PR company said to try and call it “global climate disruption”, or whatever, might have the faith of Noah in the coming deluge, but none of the backing of the Almighty I fear.

But keep telling yourself it’s “science” and “renaissance” thinking. All I see are people using a “crisis” to do what calling for a rising of the proletarians failed to do…

Yes Mike, “educate” and “empower” girls and women. Because, obviously, they’re not already educated or empowered. OHHHHHH I know what he meant.. “indoctrinate”… gotcha…

Tell them that they’re killing Mother Earth by bearing children… better to abort them if you get over the limit my dears.

Mike, the fact that you believe Al Gore possesses any sense of validity…… (shaking head sadly)

“Yes Mike, “educate” and “empower” girls and women. Because, obviously, they’re not already educated or empowered.”

??? Your point is that women the world over have enough education and power? Really?

What part of that do you seriously want to prove, because it is pretty bald saying that without an ounce of proof.

“All I see are people using a “crisis” to do what calling for a rising of the proletarians failed to do…”

Uh huh. Cuz it can’t be actual science…

Or it is, but you are taking the side that most closely resembles the tobacco lobby doctors swearing that smoking was no more dangerous than breathing…

The “science” of man-made/caused global (insert poll tested word/phrase of the week here) has been debunked to the point that it is now contradicting itself. Our SUV’s, moose and cow farts, and incandescent light bulbs are so bad that they are actually causing Mars to warm at the same rate as the Earth (NASA’s data, not mine). Not only is the science cherry picked and faulty, it doesn’t pass the common sense test.

As to the “empowered and enlightened” argument, if you’re going to live the politically correct life you’re treading on thin ice. By Al Gore’s birth rate standard, arguably only westernized civilization has “empowered and enlightened” women where birth rates are steadily falling to below replacement rates in some cases. Mr. Gore and many who are of like mind won’t criticize the non-western societies who are still breeding at rates of several times those of western civilizations. Will he address the native French couple that might have 1 child, or the muslim immigrant couple with 15 children? “RACIST!!!!”

While I fully agree with the philosophy of “Don’t breed ’em if you can’t feed ’em,” how many children I have is not a decision for someone like Al Gore to make.
