    No. “Irony” would be if the turbines were some kind of “bird protection device”. They aren’t.

      I think it sad. But folks have to understand that all forms of energy generation come with a cost. The best we can do is mitigate the costs to the max extent possible….too bad many people don’t understand that.

    Ofcourse its ironic Mike. The “wind turbines” are there to “save the planet”, and I’m pretty to many of the greenie-weenies, an endangered species is part of that “planet” that needs to be saved (or are the polar bears dying because there is no longer a north pole with ice no the planet being saved from CARBON!™), yet one of the “renewable” energies is actually KILLING the planet….

    And as James says, it pretty much goes back to those who push these energies as an alternative to PETROLEUM!™ don’t really get it. Wind and solar are good renewable energies on a micro level, but on a macro level, they fail and fail big.
